OLED life has been enhanced to achieve life is no longer OLED promotion problems?

Researchers at Kyushu University in Japan have managed to substantially increase the life of TADF OLED emitters by about eight times. This is achieved by a simple modification of the device structure by placing two thin (1-3 mm) layers of Liq, a lithium-containing molecule, on either side of the hole-blocking layer.

TADF devices used by researchers have a life expectancy of only about 85 hours (LT95). This is the use of "extreme brightness" to speed up the test. With new designs and some additional modifications, equipment life was increased to 1300 hours, almost 16 times the initial equipment life. However, the researchers said such performance still can not meet the commercial application.

And just at the end of 2015, Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has developed a new OLED device architecture that dramatically increases the life of RGB OLED displays. Known as a plasma-coupled organic light-emitting diode (PCOLED), this new structure offers 27 times longer lifespan than traditional blue / red-green fluorescent structures.

So its corrosion resistance is not as good as hot-dip galvanized sheets.
