Scientists find that 90% of human DNA is useless
Scientists at the University of Oxford have found that human beings can survive if they cut off most of the genetic information in DNA. Research has found that less than 10% of human DNA maintains human growth. This discovery may accelerate genetic research. The researchers found that only 8.2% of the human genome helped humans maintain normal growth. The rest are some of the discarded DNA left over from human evolution. Humans no longer need these genetic information. The vast majority of DNA does nothing during the entire human growth. Scientists are not sure why so much DNA is redundant. The only thing that is known is that we can still survive by cutting off most of the genetic information. Previous studies have shown that about 80% of our genome does not have the functions required by the human body. This means that it is no longer necessary to understand that 90% of the genome can solve the genetic disease problem.
