To this end, the technicians at the Nantong Coal Preparation Plant have honed a new method for desulfurization of electric coal, which is not only low in input cost but also easy to operate. According to experience, the sulfur content of coal is mainly concentrated on the washed coal. Therefore, the technician decided to study a special method to separate the sulfur concentrate in the washed coal to achieve the purpose of effective desulfurization.

In a workshop of the Nantong Coal Preparation Plant in the Wansheng Economic Development Zone, the reporter saw that the washed coal flows through the pipeline to a shaker bed that is swaying back and forth, and the denser sulfur sand is washed under the water flow. Move to the end of the bed, while other components of the finer coal, such as fine-grained coal, will move to the bed, pass through the pipeline into the overflow tank, and after dehydration, mix with the coal to form the coal that is transported to the power plant. .

According to the relevant person in charge of the Nantong Coal Preparation Plant, the plant needs to desulfurize 21,000 tons of washed coal per year, and two shakers worth 5,000 yuan can meet the requirements for use. The two shakers consume 17,000 yuan per year, and the operating cost is very low, which can reduce the cost of sulfur reduction for the power plant by 980,000 yuan.
