Dioctyl Adipate

Dioctyl Adipate is one of the most extensively used plasticizers in plastics/rubber processing. It has comprehensive properties, such as high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, UV-resisting property, water-extracting proof, cold-resisting property, and also of good softness and electric property.

Chemical properties:
A colorless, transparent, oily liquid with a slight odor. Do not dissolve in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, acetic ACID.

Usage:

Used as an excellent cold-resistant Plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, which can impart excellent low-temperature softness to products.

1.Insoluble in water, soluble in methanol, ethanol, ethyl ether, acetone, acetic acid, chloroform, ethyl acetate, petrol, toluene, mineral oil, vegetable oil and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in ethylene glycol.

2.As cold plasticizer, it can be usedc in polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene copolymer , polystyrene, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber as an typical cold plasticizer,with high efficiency, small heat discoloration; it can give product a good softness at low temperature and light fastness
