A few days ago, Ningbo Materials Co., Ltd. of the Chinese Academy of Sciences made progress in the development of composite material molding process equipment and successfully developed a high-precision RTM glue injection system equipment.
The most widely used thermosetting fiber reinforced composite manufacturing process is the resin transfer molding process (RTM). In this process, the exact ratio of resin to curing agent and the injection speed or pressure are the key factors in determining the RTM molding process and the quality of the final composite product. The price of a single RTM injection molding system in foreign countries amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars. The new products successfully developed by Ningbo Materials have independent intellectual property rights and the prices are much lower than those of similar foreign products.
The ratio of the system and the precision of the glue injection flow rate are all higher than 1%, which has reached the technical level of similar international equipment. The prototype driving part adopts a new type of permanent magnet servo motor integrated drive system. The control part adopts mainstream routers and touch screens. It uses advanced servo drive control technology to effectively control the ratio of each component and the instantaneous value of the glue injection speed so as to ensure each The proportion of components and the speed of glue injection have higher control precision, and can be adjusted in a wide range according to process requirements to meet the needs of production and related process R&D.
