Geely cooperates with Faurecia to build parts factory in five places

On December 2nd, Geely Group and auto parts suppliers French Faurecia Group and Zhejiang Limin Company formally signed a global strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou, marking the formal establishment of a joint venture by the three parties and Cixi in Zhejiang, Jinan, and Gansu in Shandong respectively. Lanzhou, Xiangtan, Hunan, and Chengdu, Sichuan Province, set up factories in the Geely Automobile Industrial Park.

One of the joint venture partners, the French Faurecia Group, is one of the world’s top 500 companies and is the sixth-largest supplier of automotive parts in the world. Zhejiang Limin Company is a core supplier that has cooperated with Geely for many years. The tripartite joint venture company and the factory will provide one-stop supporting services for the design, development and manufacture of Geely's automotive main dashboard, sub-dashboards, door panels, columns, and bumpers.
