China's printing industry has leapt to third in the world

Liu Binjie, Director of the General Administration of Press and Publication, told reporters recently that as of April this year, 103 printing companies across the country had obtained China Environmental Labeling Product Certification. “Not long ago, at the drupa international printing exhibition in Germany, China exhibited more than 10,000 square meters of exhibition space, surpassing Japan and the United States as the fourth largest exhibition country; China has 239 exhibiting companies, second only to Germany. “Liu Binjie said that the printing industry in China has been continuously developing and changing in recent years, thanks to the fact that the printing industry has been listed as an important part of the cultural industry and enjoys unprecedented policy support. The printing industry has also proposed implementing green printing as one of the promoters of adjusting the industrial structure and enhancing the degree of industrial intensification.
