Bosch Partners with JAC to Develop Automotive Infotainment System
In January 2013, Bosch announced the formal launch of its cooperation with JAC and the development of the first-generation next-generation vehicle infotainment system based on the GENIVI 2.0 platform. In the development process, as a member of the GENIVI Alliance, Bosch will share resources through the GENIVI platform, effectively streamline the development process and links of the onboard infotainment system, and achieve overall R&D cost reduction and development cycle. Optimize and promote innovation in automotive infotainment system technology. In addition, the new generation system will customize a series of corresponding functions according to the usage habits of Chinese auto users. JAC will launch the first domestic model equipped with a GENIVI 2.0 car infotainment system in 2014.
