Based on the piezo sensor's seed counting system, the piezo-ceramic disc is used to detect the vibration generated after the seed hits the cantilever beam, and the vibration is converted into a voltage waveform, and after amplification and shaping, the signal becomes a single narrow pulse signal to achieve seed counting. Piezoacoustic transducers have been used to convert the acoustic pulses generated by the mechanical impact of the fallen grain into electrical pulses, which can be used to detect single seed metering performance parameters.
The working principle of the seed counting instrument is summarized as follows: When the seed falls from a certain height and collides with a cantilever beam mechanism fixed under the falling seed conduit and has a certain inclination angle, the vibration generated by the impact of the cantilever beam passes through the lower end of the cantilever beam. The electrical sensor is converted into a voltage signal, which is input to the microcontroller via a signal processing circuit for counting. Piezoelectric seed counting system can achieve high precision, and the error of single-grain measurement is less than 0.4%. The selected cantilever beam material has better damping characteristics to meet this application requirement. The amplifying circuit of the piezoelectric sensor is simple and effective, and it truly amplifies the original signal.
In the past, the seed counting instrument was of the photoelectric type. On the mechanical structure, the seeds were arranged and dropped, so that the speed of the seed falling was not large. Some research on the photoelectric detection system was gradually carried out, although it was somewhat to some extent. Improvements, such as counting by image technology, are fast and efficient but cannot be ignored. Therefore, at present, the research and development of the seed counting instrument has great progress in the technology of seed sorting, and the precision is high, which has greatly improved the use.
