According to reports, the first "INS Vikramaditya" of the Vikrant-class aircraft carrier was built in Russia. The second "INS Vikrant" ship will become the first aircraft carrier built in India, but according to Viktor Kladov, head of the Russian industrial and technology group (Rostec), India will need Russia to provide multi-faceted technical assistance for the Vikrant class aircraft carrier.
It is understood that Russia will provide guidance systems, air defense systems and various airborne weapon systems including air defense for aircraft carriers built in India. An aircraft carrier is a huge platform and we will provide some equipment for our partners.
