FAW Jiefang, DEUTZ and Dachai Signed 4 Technology Transfer Agreements for Diesel Engine Products
On December 2, 2010, Deputy General Manager of FAW Group Co., Ltd. and Dong Chunbo, Chairman of Deutz FAW (Dalian) Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DDE) presided over a DDE board meeting in Dalian. The meeting approved the transfer of product technology and the two parties to increase the registered capital of DDE 200 million yuan in the form of licensing technology. During the conference, a short and solemn signing ceremony for product technology transfer contracts was held. The two parties were represented by the shareholders of the two parties – the president of Deutz AG, Germany, Dr. Leube, the vice chairman of DDE, and the general manager of FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. and DDE Director Wang Lizhi. A capital increase agreement was signed; the shareholders of both parties and DDE signed a capital injection agreement; FAW Jiefang Company and DDE signed a technology contract for the transfer of CA4DD and CA4/6DH engines; DEUTZ and DDE signed a transfer of TCD2013 4V, TCD2013 2V and TCD2012 2V technology contracts.
The CA4DD diesel engine system is a 2.5 to 3 liter displacement series of diesel engines tailored for FAW-generation light-duty vehicles, light passengers, MPVs, and passenger cars such as pickups and SUVs. Its power covers 90 to 163 hp, meeting the requirements of China IV and China. The V emission standards are in advanced international and leading domestic standards.
CA4/6DH diesel engine is a 4 to 6 litre product independently developed by FAW Technology Center to enhance the competitiveness of the tonnage vehicle market in the liberation industry. Its emission has reached the national IV and national V standards, and it has the national VI potential. 4-cylinder CA4DH power covers 120 to 160 horsepower, and 6-cylinder CA6DH power covers 160 to 239 horsepower, which is at the leading level in China.
TCD2013 4V is a 4-valve diesel engine developed by the DEUTZ company with advanced international standards. The power of the 4-cylinder machine covers 140 to 219 horsepower, the power of the six-cylinder machine covers 220 to 336 horsepower, and the emission reaches Euro IV and Euro V standards.
TCD2012 2V power covers 91 ~ 211 horsepower, TCD2013 2V power covers 102 ~ 272 horsepower, the product not only meets the current EU non-road emission standards, but also meets the current non-road emissions standards in the United States, is in the international advanced, domestic leading level.
