European strict management of trichloroethylene and other substances

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced on March 8 that it will implement strict controls on eight chemicals such as trichloroethylene.
It is understood that the requirements for trichloroethylene and the three boron-containing chemicals boric acid, anhydrous sodium tetraborate, sodium tetraborate decahydrate, and 4 chromates including sodium chromate, potassium chromate, ammonium dichromate, and heavy The proposal that 8 kinds of potassium chromate were classified as "highly concerned substances" for strict control was first initiated by Denmark, France and Germany. The three countries stated that there is evidence that these 8 substances are potentially harmful to human health. In the announcement, the European Chemicals Agency stated that these eight chemicals are carcinogenic and genetically mutagenic and cause harm to the human reproductive system.
The European Chemicals Agency stated that if EU member states agree to classify these chemicals in the list of substances of very high concern, the agency will include them in strictly controlled substances. The application of such chemicals must be managed by the European Chemicals Agency. Bureau's specific authorization.
The European Chemicals Agency's announcement has a 45-day comment period. The Bureau is currently collecting various harmful properties of these chemicals, as well as their uses, exposure data, and safer alternatives.
