EU investigates anti-circumvention of steel fasteners made in China

On October 28, 2010, the European Union issued an announcement stating that anti-circumvention investigations were conducted on steel fasteners originating in China and re-exported from Malaysia (whether or not the country of origin was identified as Malaysia). The customs codes of the products involved are ex73181290, ex73181491, ex73181499, ex73181559, ex73181569, ex73181581, ex73181589, ex73181590, ex73182100, ex73182200.
In November 2007, the EU launched an anti-dumping investigation against steel fasteners originally manufactured in China; in January 2009, the European Union made a definite final ruling on the case.
