Concerning the 10th National Wood Drying Seminar

Since China's accession to the WTO for three years, China’s economic construction has maintained a strong momentum of sustained development. To meet the large demand for dry wood in economic construction and development, a large number of timber drying equipment have been built in recent years, and its drying production capacity has expanded rapidly. The wood drying technology has also made great progress. Scientific research and production have been closely integrated, which has accelerated the commercialization of scientific research results. The overall level of wood drying technology has been greatly improved, and a certain scale of wood drying production system with Chinese characteristics has been formed. However, we also see that there are still many problems in the development of wood drying. Drying companies are small in scale and there is an unordered market competition. There is still a big gap between drying equipment manufacturing and quality control. The Wood Research Association of the Chinese Forestry Society’s Wood Industry Branch and the Wood Drying Professional Committee of the China Forest Products Industry Association have tentatively agreed to hold the tenth National Wood Drying Seminar in Beijing in the middle of October this year (the specific location and date will be announced separately). In order to promote the sustainable, healthy and rapid development of the wood drying industry, the focus of this academic discussion is on how to intensify wood drying technology innovation, greatly improve the quality of wood drying, and play an important role in achieving efficient and economical use of wood resources. For this purpose, thesis will be widely collected. It is hoped that wood drying workers will actively write more high-quality papers.
The papers were collectively compiled and printed by the conference group.
