It is understood that Huatai Automobile was one of the earliest large-scale manufacturing enterprises that invested and built factories in Ordos. A series of key projects of the Huatai Automobile Erdos Automobile Industrial Park directly accelerated the process of economic restructuring in the Erdos region. Not long ago, Huatai Automobile Group and Malaysia's Proton Automotive Co., Ltd. have reached a cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture in Erdos City to set up new automotive technology R&D, vehicle development, auto parts development, and export sales. In order to better complete this project, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government has implemented the spirit of “continue to increase efforts to attract investment, attract more auto supporting industries to invest in Inner Mongolia, extend the industrial chain, and form industrial clusters†to assist Ordos in building a complete auto parts R&D.
