60,000 tons/year sulphur recovery unit completed and put into production in the first half of next year
The 8-million-ton series of oil refining equipment that has been newly built and put into operation has been equipped with a 60,000-ton/year sulphur yellow recovery unit. This project will convert the production of external exhaust gas to a deep sulfur, which can ensure that the emission indicators of the refinery meet the new environmental protection standards. One of the key projects for long-term protection of the environment will play an important role in the long-term production of ultra-low-sulfur finished gasoline and diesel. The second 60,000-ton/year sulphur yellow recovery unit is being constructed by the fifth construction of Sinopec Corp., which will be responsible for the construction. The main equipment for the plant will be domestic products and facilities. It will use mature localization technology and plan to start production in the first half of next year.
